Disclosure to Third Parties:

You consent to us sharing your credit information, both positive and negative, with licensed Credit Reference Bureaus (CRBs) in Kenya for credit information sharing purposes.

You also agree that your data may be shared with our authorised third-party partners, such as debt collection agencies, under strict data protection agreements.

Your personal data will not be transferred outside Kenya without adequate safeguards and your explicit consent.

4. Credit information and CRB reporting

In accordance with the Banking (Credit Reference Bureau) Regulations, 2020, we may submit your credit information to a licensed CRB.

If your loan becomes non-performing, we will notify you in writing or electronically at least 30 days before submitting negative information to a CRB.

You have the right to request a copy of your credit report directly from a CRB once a year free of charge.

5. Responsible lending

Before extending a loan, we will take reasonable steps to satisfy ourselves of your ability to repay the credit facility.

You will be provided with clear, fair, and transparent information regarding the terms and conditions of any credit facility, including the total cost of credit, interest rates, and all applicable fees and charges.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, we will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of this platform or our services.

This limitation includes, but is not limited to, damages for loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses.

7. Dispute resolution

We are committed to addressing customer complaints promptly and fairly. If you have a dispute, you should first follow our internal complaint handling procedures, which are available on our website or by request.

If a dispute with a CRB is not resolved within the specified time, you have the right to attach a statement of dispute to your credit report.

8. Changes to this policy

We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time. All updates will be posted on this platform, and your continued use of our services will constitute your acceptance of the revised policy.
